Gregory Wilbur Awarded Paideia Prize

We are thrilled to announce that the CiRCE Institute will be awarding President Gregory Wilbur with their annual Paideia Prize at the CiRCE National Conference in July! The Paideia Prize is given in honor of a lifetime dedicated to the cultivation of wisdom and virtue. Nominees for the award are chosen by past recipients, who include: Wendell Berry, Peter Kreeft, Stratford Caldecott, Cindy Rollins, and Anthony Esolen. Mr. Wilbur is honored and humbled to be considered to join the company of these great men and women!

He is being honored for over 30 years of service in classical education. As a teacher in classical high schools and several colleges, the founder and president of New College Franklin, a composer, church liturgist, author, speaker, mentor, friend—he embodies in his life and accomplishments what it looks like to cultivate wisdom & virtue for the life of the world and the glory of Christ.
