Phillip Johnson, Ph.D. received a doctorate in Energy, Environment, and Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis in 2020. Previously, he completed a B.S. in Engineering with a Mechanical concentration from Union University. His engineering experience has been applied to HVAC manufacturing, nanoparticle formation in combustion, and turbomachinery for internal combustion engines. His previous appointments include the University of Alabama (researcher) and Thales College, where he held the position of Dean of Engineering.
