Community Arts Discussion: Bach's St Matthew Passion

  • New College Franklin 136 3rd Avenue South Franklin, TN, 37064 United States (map)

Join us for the community arts discussion sponsored by Cornerstone Presbyterian and led by NCF Founder Greg Wilbur. We will focus on one of the greatest pieces of music ever written: St Matthew Passion by J.S. Bach. To help introduce this work and to give some guided listening, we've prepared a PDF listening guide. On March 3, we will have refreshments in the Fellowship Hall starting at 6:30pm followed by discussion and listening in the Chapel at 7:00 p.m. Although there will be excerpts played during the discussion, prior familiarity with the piece is suggested.
